Tom Brady Could Break Records With This Major Real Estate Move
Now that Tom Brady has retired from the NFL, he’s reportedly making big plays off the football field. It looks like the 47-year-old athlete wants to sell his Florida estate on the elite Indian Creek Island also known as “Billionaire Bunker.”
According to Bloomberg, the off-market listing might be going for a record-breaking sum: $150 million. The custom-built home was recently completed after he purchased the two-acre lot in 2020 for $17 million. It was supposed to be his dream property with then-wife Gisele Bündchen.
The gorgeous two-story residence is right on the waterfront and includes a “new two-story single-family residence with a security building, gym, cabana, pool, sport court, emergency, landscaping, septic system,” per property documents obtained by the New York Post. While business insiders point out that Brady is likely taking advantage of the hot Southern Florida real estate market, it’s quite possible his decision to sell his home is also tied to his ex-wife.
In late October, Bündchen revealed her pregnancy with boyfriend Joaquim Valente and Brady reportedly took the news hard. “He’s not dating anyone and he’s feeling a little lonely and sorry for himself,” a source told In Touch Weekly in December 2024. “Gisele, meanwhile, is enjoying a holiday in Costa Rica with [boyfriend] Joaquim [Valente] and she’s got the kids, but Tom has to work and he’s feeling left out.” The 44-year-old supermodel, who shares son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, warned him ahead of their split that it was her time to shine, and she wanted him to prioritize their family.
“I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom],” she explained. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams,” Bündchen explained to Elle in September 2022. “I have a huge list of things that I have to do, that I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose.”
His stunning Florida mansion might represent his life in the past because he was supposed to live there with Bündchen, Benjamin, Vivian, and son Jack, 17, from his relationship with Bridget Moynahan. The best way to move on is often about letting go of things from the past.
