Rayne man charged in Jan. 10 drive-by shooting in Acadia Parish
CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) -- A Rayne man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with a drive-by shooting Jan. 10, authorities said.
Kelvin Lavan Madison, 37, of Rayne, is charged with one count of attempted second degree murder and 5 counts of assault by drive-by shooting.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office investigated a drive by shooting Jan. 10 on Bosco Highway in northeast Acadia Parish. Investigators said a suspect fired multiple shots into a residence that was occupied by five people.
Deputies arrested Madison on Jan. 20 without incident, officials said. Madison was booked into the Acadia Parish Jail. Bond has been set at $750,000.
