Reese Witherspoon Slips Into Sleek Black Look Complete With Timeless Pumps for ‘You’re Cordially Invited’ London Screening
Reese Witherspoon proved that all black will always be timeless at a special screening of her new film “You’re Cordially Invited” in London on Thursday.
The stylish actress wore a sleek black dress featuring a fitted bodice, a subtle satin sash accent at the waist, and a straight, thigh-slit skirt that hit just below the knees. She layered a black blazer on top for a business-like aesthetic. Witherspoon rounded out the sophisticated ensemble with dazzling earrings dripping with diamonds and soaring black stilettos.
The “Legally Blonde” star donned a classic pointed silhouette boasting a silky upper and a razor-sharp heel that appeared to be between 4-to-5 inches.
When it comes to footwear for premieres, press appearances, and award shows, Witherspoon typically wears shoes from top brands like Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura, and Gianvito Rossi. Specifically, she’s often seen in celebrity-favorite styles like Louboutin’s So Kate pumps, Jimmy Choo’s Anouk pumps, and Aquazzura’s So Nude sandals.
Recently, she hit the stage to announce Amazon’s upcoming “Legally Blonde” prequel in Christian Louboutin’s Hot Chick slingback heels featuring a notched ankle strap. On other occasions in 2024, Witherspoon also stepped out in strappy Celine sandals, Fendi’s F-heel slingback pumps, and Dior’s beloved J’adior slingbacks (a favorite of former U.S. first lady Jill Biden).
The “Big Little Lies” actress also founded her own clothing brand Draper James in 2015. Inspired by her Southern upbringing, the label is named after her grandparents. Last spring, Draper James and Jack Rogers relaunched their popular collaboration from 2018, releasing three new whimsical sandals.
“You’re Cordially Invited” costars Will Ferrell and “Drive-Away Dolls” actress Geraldine Viswanathan. A description for the film on IMDB reads, “When two weddings are double booked at the same venue, the father of the bride and sister of the other bride try to preserve the wedding weekend.” It will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on Jan. 30.
