Traitors Finale: Retailer drops £45 dupe of Claudia Winkleman’s coat and it’s £580 cheaper
CLAUDIA Winkleman has become a total style icon with her incredible outfits on The Traitors.
The star’s Highlands-chic wardrobe is filled with tweed blazers, tartans and chunky knitwear, and her grey longline coat is a particular hit with viewers.
Debuting the look on last Wednesday’s episode of The Traitors, Claudia wore her Bella Freud Jean Genet Coat with an statement black lace maxi skirt that channelled her gothic aesthetic.
While the presenter’s exact coat is £625 (currently down from £1,250), ASOS has a similar version that’s £580 cheaper.
The high street number features the same longline cut and lapels collar, finished with a similar belt that cinches the waist.
ASOS Brave Soul Belted Longline Coat, £45 (was £60)
The charcoal grey colourway is ideal for winter, and the versatile shade will pair well with just about any look.
ASOS’s Brave Soul Coat is also on sale, taking it down from £60 to £45.
The main difference between the ASOS buy and Claudia’s coat is that the designer version is made from real wool, while the £45 lookalike is described as ‘wool look’.
Claudia’s longline coat also features a smart double-breasted design, and the belt is finished with a stylish buckle.
While I haven’t tried on the coats myself, both designs are versatile enough for everyday wear, and the waist-defining belt adds an elegant finish for styling with dresses.

The perfect style for layering, I could see ASOS’ version being worn with everything from jeans and trainers to a mini skirt, tights and chunky boots.
Claudia previously had fans rushing to Marks & Spencer to pick up her £35 grey knitted cardigan that she modelled on her Instagram.
The cosy knit has racked up glowing reviews from shoppers, with an average rating of 4.5-out-of-five-stars.
