The top UK attractions that you can visit for as little as 25p this year
THIS March you can go to museum exhibits, the Eden Project and National Trust Houses for as little as 25p.
The National Lottery is launching its open week where if you play the lottery, you can visit as many of the venues taking part as you like.
The botanical gardens in Cornwall would ordinarily cost £42 on the door, but with a ticket, you can go for free[/caption] The HMS Belfast attraction is offering 2 for 1 entry with the National Lottery[/caption]To redeem the free entry, all you have to do is show a physical or digital lottery or scratch card at the entrance of any participating venue.
If you’re not a regular Lottery goer, that doesn’t matter, you can buy a new one for as little as 25p which you can do with the Prize Ball Red Instant Win game.
The offer takes place between 15 and 23 March, 2025.
The offer still works if you show an old ticket too.
In 2024, 500 National Lottery-funded venues took part in the offer week.
This year, one of the most costly places you can visit through the National Lottery Open week is the Eden Project.

The Crich Tramway Village, home of the National Tramway Museum in Derby, is also taking part.
One of the Sun Travel team went to visit the Crich Tramway Village and said it was “fun for all the family”.
If vintage transport is your thing, The Aston Manor Road Transport Museum in the West Midlands is offering free entry for up to five people with a ticket or scratchcard.
The popular Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire, which usually costs adults £23.10, is also offering free entry.
The ancient abbey ruins and water garden at this World Heritage Site are definitely worth a trip.
London attractions that you can visit with the National Lottery include The Charles Dickens Museum, which would usually have an adult entry fee of £12.50.
In the city, there is also the Heath Robinson Museum, HMS Belfast, Florence Nightingale Museum, and the Chelsea Physic Garden, all offering free entry.
Across Wales there are nine National Trust houses from Powis Garden and Castle, to Erddig, Tudor Merchant’s House in Tenby.

Adult fares are £26.50 – so it could be the perfect opportunity for a group day out.
Some places are also offering lottery ticket holders discounts in their gift shops and restaurants throughout the week.
For film buffs, there’s also the chance to watch the preview of an upcoming film for free thanks to Escapes.
The Penguin Lessons, starring Steve Coogan and Jonathan Pryce, will be playing at over 100 independent cinemas.
