Fixtures
- Hibernian Women Vs. Glasgow City Women - Sun, Jan 26th 2025, 16:10
The Lowdown
Hibernian Women booked their spot in the Sky Sports Cup Final last Sunday, defeating Aberdeen 3-0 at Meadowbank Stadium.
Ciara Grant grabbed a crucial brace as Eilidh Adams netted her 22nd goal in 22 appearances to seal the memorable Semi-Final win.
The victory extended our winning streak in all competitions to five matches. Grant Scott's side have also went five matches without conceding.
Our return to league competition also gives us the opportunity to extend our unbeaten run in the league, as we head into Sunday's match unbeaten in our last 10 league matches.
The Hibees currently sit third in the division on 42 points. Rangers also have 42 points, but sit second due to their superior goal difference. Hearts and Celtic remain one point behind, whilst City remain five points clear at the top.
The Visitors
Glasgow City are the only ScottishPower Women's Premier League outfit with a longer unbeaten streak in the league than the Hibees.
Leanne Ross' side are unbeaten in 18 league matches, winning their last three on the bounce.
Their only match of 2025 saw City thump Aberdeen - after racing into a 4-0 lead within 15 minutes and securing 6-1 win at Petershill Park on Sunday 12 January.
City are currently first-place in the league on 47 points. They are five points ahead of both Rangers and Hibs heading into Sunday's match.
Hibs Women's last meeting with City was at Petershill Park in September. A first-minute goal, followed by two late strikes, secured a 3-0 victory for the home team on the day at Petershill Park.
