Donald Trump Jr.’s Girlfriend Might Not Be Thrilled That Kimberly Guilfoyle Is Staying in His Life
If Donald Trump Jr.’s new girlfriend Bettina Anderson thought that Kimberly Guilfoyle would be out of the picture with her ambassadorship to Greece, she might be surprised to learn that their bond is unbreakable. Despite a possible messy timeline in their breakup, it seems that Donald Trump’s eldest son and the former TV anchor ended their relationship on good terms.
“Kimberly and Don have known each other for years and have a lot of history together so she feels like they’ll always have a connection,” a source told Page Six, noting that the former duo still “run in the same circles.” Her job will also require her to “remain in contact with President Trump about her new role.” That might not be good news to Anderson, who reportedly encouraged her boyfriend to get “Kim out of the area,” per People.
“They are trying to send Kim abroad,” the insider told the media outlet in December. “They waited for the election to pass but they didn’t want the split to get in the way of anything to hurt Donald in the election.” At the inauguration, both women were visible in the Trump family circle — and a Page Six source is indicating that Donald Jr.’s relationship with the 38-year-old Miami socialite is serious.
“Don Jr. is essentially living with Bettina at her townhouse,” the insider revealed. “His car is always there [at her townhouse]. Always.” While Donald Jr. seems smitten with Anderson, the rest of the Trump family is allegedly not thrilled with her presence. Mediaite reported on Jan. 15 that Donald Trump was “deeply troubled” about the romance because Anderson has an “alleged reputation for hard partying and a pattern of dating wealthy men in the affluent Florida enclave.”
“Donald Trump does not approve of his son’s association with Bettina,” the source claimed. “Bettina’s presence is seen as a liability rather than an asset.” And the tabloid start — the Daily Mail broke the news of their alleged affair in September — didn’t help the situation. It might be a bumpy road ahead for Donald Jr. and Anderson if the family strife isn’t worked out because being on the wrong side of Donald Trump doesn’t sound ideal.
