New York Fitness and Wellness Expo returns to the Capital Region this weekend
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Weightlifters, strength trainers, hikers, cardio junkies, elite competitors and workout beginners are invited to attend the annual Fitness and Wellness Expo on January 25 and 26 at the Impact Athletic Center, 390 NY-146. Attendees will access new information, useful techniques, fun demonstrations, and clever products among more than 125 vendors.
Described as the largest fitness expo in the Northeast, the expo is designed to inspire and energize every person and every body shape. All attendees with receive a free one-month membership to Best Fitness and a $5 gift card to Bowled Healthy Food Company.
"The first time The NY Fitness Expo was held was before the pandemic. It was a tremendous success, and this year we’re building on that foundation by adding a strong focus on wellness. Since Covid, the fitness industry has evolved, and overall wellness has become a top priority for our community," Ashley Salvadore, one of the event organizers, said. "This event provides attendees with a unique opportunity to discover the incredible resources available in the Capital Region and beyond to support their wellness journeys."
The expo will feature 15-minute workout classes designed for all fitness levels. The classes include yoga, bodyweight exercises, Mat Pilates, kettlebell flow and FITT.
There will also be giveaways and contests, including a plank contest, a free throw contest, and the longest drive challenge. Tickets for the expo are $7 online or $10 at the door. Children under 18, college students with a valid ID, active and retired military and first responders will access free admission.
