Molly-Mae wears ‘sacred’ £80 PJs as she’s spotted with Tommy Fury for the first time since his booze confession
MOLLY-MAE Hague has never held back when it comes to revealing her deep love for pyjamas. In fact, in her recent documentary Molly-Mae: Behind It All she hailed them a ‘sacred’ wardrobe item, as important to her as any style of daywear.
So it was no wonder she was looking cosy and comfy when she showed off just one of the sets in her huge collection as she greeted ex Tommy Fury, 25, at her £3.5 million Cheshire home.
The exclusive pictures are the first time the pair have been pictured together since Tommy admitted his battles with alcohol had lead to their heartbreaking split.
Tommy arrived at Molly’s house to collect their daughter Bambi – who turns two tomorrow (23 January) – for a day out, carrying out his fatherly responsibilities as a camera crew arrived to film Molly.
Molly was seen looking tense as she put their daughter into his car and was then seen cheerfully waving goodbye to Tommy as he left.
The star first gave fans a sneak peak into her luxury nightwear wardrobe while shooting for her new Prime series.
During the show Molly pulled open a draw containing row after row of neatly folded nightwear, telling viewers: “One thing about me, is that pyjamas are a sacred part of life.”
And it’s clear to see that Molly wasn’t exaggerating her love for the relaxed loungewear, as while loading Bambi into the luxury £120,000 Mercedes-Benz 4×4, the former Love Island star was snapped in a pair of charming Sweet Treats Pyjamas from Treats Studio.
The long sleeve luxury PJs retail for £80, and feature a quirky candy print.
They’re adorned with tiny multi-coloured gummy bears and lollipops, alongside quaint strawberries and bon-bons.
In her documentary, Molly told viewers: “You spend half your life in bed, so you spend half your life in your nightwear.
“So you actually need to invest in your nightwear just as much as your day-to-day clothes.”
Why nightwear is the new daywear...
Fabulous' Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals why people are spending more money than ever on nightwear.
‘SINCE the pandemic the demand for pyjamas has rocketed and, just like Molly, people aren’t afraid to spend all day in their jim-jams OR be seen out in public wearing them, ‘ Clemmie says.
‘The demand for stylish loungewear and nightwear that is good enough to be seen in has continued to grow.
‘M&S have seen a steady rise in PJ’s with sales growing approximately 6.5% in the financial year and continue to climb.
‘But shoppers aren’t just buying any old thing for bed, they’re showing them off.
‘”Cute pyjama sets” has over a million 108.1million videos on TikTok, whilst “pyjama sets” have over 3 billion views.
‘Brands like TU at Sainsbury’s and F&F have seen their sleepwear sets, including masks and scrunchies to match, go viral.
‘Following COVID-19 the long-term shift for working from home and just spending more time at home has fuelled the trend.
‘A video from 2024 went viral when a woman asked if pyjamas were made to look like suits for a reason? It sparked comments of surprise agreement and that they’d never noticed they are like a ‘cotton business suit’, seemingly endorsing the fact that it’s appropriate to wear outside of the bedroom and deemed presentable.
‘Plus younger, Gen-Z consumers – just like Molly – don’t spend their cash going out to nightclubs but instead enjoy spending quality time indoors with their friends in matching pyjama sets.’
The star’s very lavish lifestyle has been well documented, and the first three episodes of her latest docuseries gave viewers a closer look into her flashy spending habits.
During the half hour episodes, she spilled the goss on her situation with ex Tommy, how they’ve coped with co-parenting daughter Bambi and even the £140 Maebe blazer that caused widespread backlash.
But fashion fans also noticed her extensive designer wardrobe and beauty products – where she keeps her hallowed comfies.
Molly-Mae and Tommy since the split
The couple called it quits on their five-year long relationship back in August, with Tommy blaming their split on his battle with booze earlier this month.
He revealed he would drink to get ‘black-out drunk’ most nights following a painful boxing injury – saying “my mental health was in the pan”.
But fans were convinced the couple had patched things up after they were spotted sharing a shocking New Year’s kiss at Manchester United star Luke Shaw‘s Hogmanay party.
Now, the pair have been exclusively pictured for the first time since Tommy’s harrowing admission.
Molly looks fresh-faced with her long blonde locks tied back neatly above her head.
Meanwhile, ex Tommy is seen in a pair of sporty trainers, with slim fit tracksuit bottoms, a Nike top and a thick black puffer jacket.
The pics come as eagle-eyed fans wonder if the pair have secretly made amends – thanks to accidental clues on Instagram.
