Ferrari continues their rollout of Lewis Hamilton ahead of the 2025 season
Ferrari’s rollout of Lewis Hamilton as a driver for their Formula 1 team continues.
Earlier this week the team shared images of Hamilton’s first day on the job, as he met with senior leadership at the team’s factory. On Tuesday the team shared the first images of Hamilton in a red Ferrari race suit, but Wednesday brought the day the Tifsoi were waiting for most of all.

The team confirmed that he took to their test track shortly after 9:00 a.m. local time in cool, misty conditions. Ferrari later shared this quick video clip of Hamilton climbing into the cockpit of the SF-23, the team’s challenger for the 2023 season:

Hamilton also debuted a striking yellow crash helmet, reminiscent of the yellow helmet he wore as a rookie with McLaren, as well as the helmet he wore for his first season with Mercedes.
The driver also took a moment to acknowledge Ferrari supporters who began assembling in the early morning hours to get a glimpse of their team’s newest driver, and a living legend in the sport:

The 2025 F1 season begins in earnest in March, with the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
