Donald Trump's Inauguration 2025 Viewership Numbers Revealed, Lowest Ratings For Past 3 Inaugurations
The numbers are in for the 2025 Inauguration where Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
Taking place on Monday (January 20), the event was broadcast across nearly ever major network and the viewership numbers have now been unveiled by Nielsen.

Via Variety, an average of 24.6 million people tuned in to watch the Inauguration, which marks the lowest number from the past three inaugurations, including Trump‘s first one in 2017.
In 2021, 33.8 million viewers watched as Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th President, while 31 million viewers tuned in for Trump‘s first swearing in in 2017.
This year’s viewership numbers were counted across ABC, CBS, NBC, Merit Street Media, Telemundo, Univision, CNBC, CNN, CNNe, FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, MSNBC, Newsmax, NewsNation and PBS.
Fox News was the most watched with 10.67 million viewers, while ABC News, NBC News and CBS News all had between 4-5 million, according to Deadline.
The publication also reports that viewership peaked in the 12:15 quarter hour while Trump gave his address.
The age brackets of those tuning in, per Nielsen, were 17.4 million as 55 and above, 4.67 million were 35-54 and 1.43 million were 18-34.
