2025 Razzie Awards nominations led by ‘Joker: Folie à Deux,’ ‘Megalopolis,’ and more
The Razzie Awards spread the “wealth” this year, with five movies receiving a leading six nominations apiece, including in the unfortunate Worst Picture race: Borderlands, Joker: Folie à Deux, Madame Web, Megalopolis, and Reagan. Meanwhile, Unfrosted received four bids, while The Crow nabbed two.
“At the dawn of a dark era, the 45th Razzies remain ready to pounce,” declared the organization, which announced its bids one day after the inauguration of the 47th president and two days before the 2025 Oscars nominations. Fun fact: the ultimate “winners” of these categories will take home a “$4.97 gold spray-painted statuette.”
Oscar winners nominated for Golden Raspberries this year include Joaquin Pheonix (Joker: Folie à Deux), Cate Blanchett (Borderlands), Lady Gaga (Joker: Folie à Deux), Ariana DeBose (Argylle and Kraven the Hunter), and Jon Voight (Megalopolis, Reagan, Shadow Land, and Strangers).
More than 1,200 Razzie members from 49 states and about two dozen foreign countries made these nominations in all nine categories. Find out who will be saying, “You hate me, you really hate me!” when the ceremony takes place via a video press release on the now traditional date of “Oscar Eve,” Saturday, March 1.
