Central Marin police arrest hit-and-run suspect
Central Marin police arrested a Mill Valley resident after an alleged hit-and-run incident that injured a bicyclist.
The incident occurred at about 3 p.m. Monday in the area of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and San Francisco Boulevard. Medics took the cyclist to MarinHealth Medical Center.
Police determined that the vehicle that allegedly struck the cyclist was registered to a residence in Mill Valley. Officers found the vehicle and the suspected driver there.
Eleanor Stringer, 54, was booked into the Marin County Jail on a felony count. She was released on bail pending a review by the Marin County District Attorney’s Office.
Stringer could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
