Lauren Sanchez Rewore a White Suit From 2024 With Beige Pumps to President Trump’s Inauguration
Lauren Sanchez rewore a white suit she previously modeled in 2024 for the inauguration of Donald Trump on Jan. 20, but switched it up with a different pair of shoes.
Opting for a white Alexander McQueen look for the occasion, her suit included wide-legged pants and a blazer fastened with a single button in the middle. The outer garment also featured prominent shoulders and a fitted silhouette. The jacket revealed a lacy white garment underneath with the look of a corset; the outfit has proven to be controversial since Sanchez decided to deviate from the typical demure fashion of inaugurations. She previously wore the suit in December 2024, posting it to social media. While on Instagram she paired the look with black heels, she was spotted in Manhattan, New York wearing the ensemble with chunky platform peep toe sandals.
Sticking with the white aesthetic as she repurposed the look for the inauguration, she paired the suit with a long, fuzzy jacket double-breasted jacket featuring gold buttons from Schiaparelli.
Sanchez’s footwear deviated from the white color scheme, according to a photo she shared on her Instagram Story. She donned a pair of beige pointed-toe pumps, a neutral choice to complement the suit and coat. The former journalist has worn this type of shoe many times in the past; to name two examples, she wore a shiny beige pair from Christian Louboutin at her book launch in September and displayed the neutral style for an appearance on “Today” in November. Sanchez was one of many women wearing pumps at the inauguration, from Jill Biden to Melania Trump.
Additional brands Sanchez has worn in the past include Le Silla and Jimmy Choo.
