North West Wears Furry Moon Boot X Jacquemus Icon Yeti Boots While Working on Her First Album With Dad Kanye West
North West is not only a music prodigy in the making, she is also paving the way for an epic career in fashion.
Over the weekend, dad Kanye West shared a heartfelt message to his eldest daughter, thanking her for helping him find his passion in music once again. “This little girl made me love music again. She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY,” the rapper wrote on Instagram, where he also shared several pictures of North working in his studio.
In those pics, the 11-year-old could be seen in a pair of fuzzy over-the-knee boots that appeared to be the Moon Boot X Jacquemus Icon High Yeti Boots, which were characterized by their rounded-toe design. While the photos were in black and white, the boots appeared to be a white/cream color, and finished by a white rubber outsole. The Icon High embodies Jacquemus’ bold style with its white faux-fur construction, which the brand says features futuristic astronaut-inspired elements with functional design, cutting-edge insulation, a lightweight midsole, and a thermoplastic rubber tread sole with suction pads for unparalleled grip. West’s boots retail for $570.
Boots of all kinds are expected to be the dominant style throughout winter 2025. Pointed-toe boots, in-particular, continue to be versatile go-to when it comes to classic footwear, with a storied history that dates decades. Celebrities have been choosing to wear boots of all kinds on the red carpet and at major events this fall and winter season.
West has also made boots a part of her fashion routine over the years we’ve seen her in. Over the holiday, the fashionista celebrated the holiday season in style with her mother Kim Kardashian, wearing the knee-high Balenciaga Alaska Fur boots in a black color. Those boots are emphasized by a textural suede paneling and jet-black faux-fur uppers, bulbous rounded toes, thick rubber tread and 3.5-inch sculpted stiletto heels.
Oh, and we definitely can’t forget the Dolce & Gabbana platform boots she donned at the Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards. Those boots consisted of a zipper along the upper and a silver DG logo on the front of the toe.
When she isn’t in boots, you can typically find the pre-teen in sneakers, such as the black Nike sneakers she wore alongside her mom to a Los Angeles Lakers home game in December 2023, which she teamed with yellow and black racing jacket and distressed jeans, proving that casual and punk-emo can also have a sporty look.
