Justin Bieber Promises He’s Still a Wife Guy
Something weird is going on in the Bieber-verse — weirder than usual, even, which is a lot to say for a man who had to publicly clarify he isn’t involved with Hillsong after he allegedly had a falling out with its abusive pastor. Bieber claims a hacker unfollowed his wife, Hailey Bieber, on his Instagram account on January 21 (after his series of photos posing with a hat and a bong from the day before). It is unclear exactly when Bieber’s account unfollowed Hailey. Instagram doesn’t offer timestamps for unfollowing, but X accounts including Pop Base first tweeted about it at approximately 6:43 a.m. on January 21. In 2025 terms, that basically meant they were getting a divorce. Gasp: Who gets custody of the smoothie?

But later that same morning, Bieber posted on his Instagram story that he’d been hacked, claiming “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife.” “Shit is gettting [sic] suss out here,” he added. He has since deleted that Instagram story and refollowed Hailey. If you had secret access to Justin Bieber’s Instagram account, what would you do with it? Maybe post a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr., whom he sampled on his last album to much confusion? Well, too late. He already did that.
