Deputies investigate pedestrian-auto crash in Malta
MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A pickup truck struck a pedestrian in Malta on Monday at around 6:52 p.m., per the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office. It happened near Cherry Choke Road.
Deputies said the truck had been traveling north on Route 9 when it struck the pedestrian in the roadway. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
The driver and the passenger of the truck were not injured. The Sheriff's Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
