Crossgates to host 24th RMHC Radiothon fundraiser
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- For 24 years, the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Capital Region has raised money with an annual Radiothon. The 2025 Radiothon starts Friday, January 24, and officials hope to raise $150,000.
Radio stations across the Albany area will broadcast Radiothon, which raises thousands of dollars to support the RMHC mission and services of providing families with children who face serious health challenges. A one-night stay for a family at the House That Love Built is $150, and RMHC aims to provide 1,000 nights of comfort from the money raised through Radiothon.
Radiothon is on Friday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During these hours, anyone interested in donating should call (518) 438-2655 or donate online through the RMHC website.
Crossgates will have four tables spread throughout the mall with information about Radiothon near APEX Entertainment, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the LEGO Store. Live interviews with families who have stayed at the RMHC of the Capital Region will be aired.
