Billy Idol and Joan Jett to perform at SPAC
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Capital Region rock fans can let loose a "Rebel Yell" this summer! Grammy Award-nominated rockers Billy Idol and Joan Jett will be performing at Saratoga Performing Arts Center on August 17.
Idol, famous for singing "Eyes Without A Face" and "White Wedding," has released eight solo albums after previously being the frontman of Generation X. Jett, who started her music career with The Runaways, plays alongside The Blackhearts and is best known for her songs "I Love Rock 'N Roll," "Bad Reputation," and "I Hate Myself for Love You."
The show is a stop on the "It's A Nice Day To...Tour Again!" tour. The concert is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m.
Presale tickets will be available on January 22 at 9 a.m. using the code “OCTAVE.” Tickets go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. on January 24. You can buy Billy Idol and Joan Jett tickets online through the Live Nation website.
