Crews battle fire on Brookview Road in Schodack
SCHODACK, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Fire officials responded to a house fire between Brookview Road and Schodack Valley Road around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Schodack Valley Fire Chief Brian Cassidy said the building is a total loss.
Crews are still working to extinguish the fire, and roads in the immediate area are shut down. One problem firefighters face is the cold temperatures and freezing hydrant pipes and valves.
