Two women-founded shops coming to Stuyvesant Plaza
GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Two new women-founded retailers are coming to Stuyvesant Plaza in Guilderland. Jewelry store Kendra Scott and specialty piercing salon Rowan will open their doors on the north side of the property this year.
“We look forward to welcoming Kendra Scott and Rowan to Stuyvesant Plaza and are thrilled to add two more nationally beloved, women-founded businesses to our robust collection of shops and eateries,” said Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge.
Kendra Scott, an Austin-based company founded by its namesake, will feature signature jewelry lines of natural gemstones, precious metals and charms. The shop will also include day-to-day essentials like earrings, necklaces and watches as well as customizable pieces.
The Stuyvesant Plaza Kendra Scott location will join a network of 140 experiential stores and pop-up locations, wholesale partners like Nordstrom and Dillard's, and over 850 specialty boutiques around the country. The company is also dedicated to giving back to philanthropic organizations and local nonprofits in the community.
Rowan is a mom-founded and mom-led ear piercing and hypoallergenic jewelry brand with studios across the U.S. The shop, which offers piercings performed by licensed nurses and is backed by a medical advisory board, aims to make ear-piercing as safe as possible starting at 2 months of age.
"Kendra Scott’s colorful and unique jewelry and Rowan’s specialty piercing salon are sure to delight all of our guests," Ferluge said."
The two shops are planned to open in 2025. The retailers will join other upcoming additions including Athleta, Vineyard Vines, FP Movement and Anthropologie.
