‘Real reason’ Casey set sights on Gabby on Love Island All Stars revealed by best pal Tom amid ‘player’ accusations

CASEY O’Gorman has set his sights on Gabby Allen because he’s ready to settle down says best pal Tom Clare, as he rubbished claims the Love Islander is a “player”.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Tom, 25, insists Casey wants to find his forever person on All Stars – just like he did with Molly Smith, 30.

“I want everyone to have the love that me and Molly have – and Casey wants that too,” said Tom, who won All Stars with his girlfriend last year.

“Casey had mixed feelings towards going back in for a third time, but he’s single, and on the outside, he hasn’t met anyone that he’s wanted to settle down with.

“The first two times he was on the show he came in quite late so didn’t really get to show his full potential.

“I think now he’s gone in early doors, then he’s got a really good chance of meeting someone and kind of growing and having that connection with someone.”

Encouraging Casey, 28, to go on Love Island for a third time, Tom says he jokingly told him: “I said, ‘go for it, enjoy yourself – and come back with a girlfriend so you’ll stop face-timing me every day’.”

However, within moment of arriving as a bombshell, Casey was attacked by his co-star Kaz Crossley, who accused him of treating former Love Island girls badly – including her close friend Georgia Harrison.

Casey confessed to breaking up with Georgia, in a scene that went viral, after she told him she’d seen his dead grandad.

He also admitted to having already slept with bombshell Tina Stinnes – leaving 32-year-old Gabby gutted.

Defending Casey against his so-called bad reputation, Tom said: “I don’t even think he’s been with that many Love Islanders to be fair.

“I’ve heard a few people say he’s a player, but he’s not a player.

“People seem to have this opinion on him that he messes girls around, but he doesn’t.

“I know before, when he’s been on a few dates, he’ll say ‘look, I’m not interested’, but he’s handled those situations in the right manner.

“He’s very respectful and is just keeping his options open until he can bring his dream girl home to his family.

“I think it’s hard to find someone that you connect with and you want to spend the rest of your life with. He wants that, and he is ready for that, he’s definitely in there for the right reason.”

The footballer, who plays for Macclesfield Town, used to live with Casey after they first found fame on Love Island in 2023.

Tom’s since bought and renovated a house with Molly – and Casey hopes to find a special someone like his best mate.

Gabby – who’s four years older than Casey – could be the mature woman he needs, says Tom, who is five years younger than Molly.

“He wants to be me, doesn’t he?”, Tom teased about the girls’ striking similarities.

“You know what, I want everyone to have the love that me and Molly have.

“Bloody hell, we’re inseparable. So yeah, I think he sees me and Molly, and he sees how happy we are and he wants that too.

“I think there is someone out there for everyone. I got lucky and met Molly.

“I know he’s so happy for us, and I hope he can find that with someone as well.”

Tom has even had thoughts about a double date with Casey, Molly and Gabby in future.

“We’ve have been watching every night and we’re rooting for him and Gabby.

“We were even in the kitchen the other night thinking ‘oh, we could play beer pong here with Casey and Gabby’.

“I know Molly’s met Gabby a few times and she said she’s a really nice girl. So yeah I think they get on really well. She brings out a more serious side to him, and they seem to be getting closer and closer every day.

“Obviously, it’s still really early days, and a lot can happen in a few hours in that place, but he needs someone to put him in his place and wear the trousers, really.

“He has his daft and silly side and can be so positive and good to be around. If you’re ever having a bad day, you want him around to lift you up.

“But he does have that serious side, and I think it will just take the right kind of woman for him to settle down. He needs a mature woman.

“Gabby’s a little bit older than him, which I think he probably needs. So yeah, I’m rooting for them.”
