When Lana and Ron were put in a couple on day one but decided to coupled up with other people on day five.

Why did Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall split?
The Love Island runners-up left hand in hand but the reality of their long-distance relationship took its toll on the couple.
Ron lived in Essex and Lana was based in Manchester.
At the time of their break-up a source told MailOnline: “Lana and Ron really put everything into their romance and have tried to make things work for some time now.
“Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, which is a decision they have made amicably and of course, they still remain good friends.
“Commuting from Manchester to Essex and back again whenever they wanted to spend time together, as well as managing their work commitments just proved too difficult.”
The two islanders decided to split three months after leaving the popular ITV show.
Despite the break up, the two still follow each other on Instagram (as of January 2025) and have kept old photos of them as a couple on their grid.
Big U-turn
Less than two years ago, Ron exclusively told The Sun that he would “never do” a dating show again, when he lifted the lid on his life since leaving the villa, as well as his split from Lana.
Ron said: “I will never do a dating show again, I will never have a relationship in the public eye again because I think it ruins it.
“It played a part in mine and Lana’s relationship.
“I think relationship programmes are quite forced and it doesn’t happen naturally.
“It worked for me because I didn’t expect to fall in love. But I think sometimes it can play with peoples feelings too much.”
Less than two years later, Ron had a change of heart and returned to the Love Island villa as an All Star on January 20, 2025.
Shortly after Ron was revealed as a surprise bombshell on the spin-off show, Lana took to socials to share her reaction, with a selfie of her looking shocked and the caption: “Stop it right now.”
