Ivanka Trump Dances the Night Away in Classic Black Pumps With Husband Jared Kushner at Commander-In-Chief Inaugural Ball 2025
Ivanka Trump put on her dancing shoes while at the 2025 Commander-In-Chief Inaugural Ball held in Washington D.C. tonight.
Ivanka was joined onstage by her husband Jared Kushner, along with her father President Donald Trump and his wife First Lady Melania Trump. Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance also joined in on the festivities.
Like the simple styles chosen by Melania and Usha, Ivanka sported a pair of classic satin black pumps. The chosen shoe featured pointed toes, satin uppers and stiletto heels. The shoe was simple and sophisticated, enhancing her formalwear nicely. No matter the silhouette, satin styles are beloved by many political figures. The textural addition upgrades almost any ordinary shoe, elevating the footwear with little to no effort at all.
Partnered with her pumps, the former advisor to the president sported a white and black gown similar to Melania’s. The garment featured an elegant strapless bodice and a high-low skirt that slightly trailed behind Ivanka as she traversed the stage. Black floral print bloomed across the dress, creating a welcomed contrast.
Ivanka’s shoe style often includes versatile styles like pointed-toe pumps from brands like Manolo Blahnik. Off-duty, she can also be seen in flats, along with thong and wedge sandals from Gianvito Rossi, Tkees and Aquazzura. Ivanka’s casual shoe lineup also include athletic sneakers by APL, Mizuno and New Balance.
The 2025 Commander-In-Chief Inaugural Ball is being held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. tonight. Country music band Rascal Flatts and country music singer-songwriter Parker McCollum are expected to perform. President Donald Trump is expected to deliver remarks at the ball.
There are three inaugural balls in total, each with a distinct purpose. These include the Commander in Chief Ball, Liberty Inaugural Ball and Starlight Ball. All three will be held at the Washington Convention Center.
