Shoppers run to Sainsbury’s to bag ‘chic’ £24 cardigan that’s the colour of spring
SPRING may be on the way, but it looks like cute knitwear is here to stay for the new season.
And a popular supermarket has upped its game with a brand new piece on the rails.
Tu Clothing is the in-house fashion label at Sainsbury’s and is renowned for its stylish buys at affordable prices.
So it’s unsurprising that fashion fans are in a frenzy over the supermarket’s SS25 arrivals.
Shoppers have been racing to get their hands on a new cardigan that’s just hit shelves.
The Light Yellow Raglan Sleeve Cardigan is available in sizes eight to 24, and also comes in pastel green or navy.
Showing off the new knitwear, the TU team said: “Did somebody say knit of the season?”
Indeed, pastel yellow is set to be a huge colour for spring.
On the website, the supermarket added: “Our cosy light yellow cardigan will keep you warm in style.
“In a button-through design, it has raglan sleeves and is perfect for teaming with denim jeans in the chillier weather.”
After spotting the cosy piece, one shopper cried: “Pastel yellow for 2025 is IT.”
“So gorgeous”, gushed a second.
Someone else added: “Wow! We love that cardigan, so chic!”
A fourth wrote: “Omggggg I need it.”
“Oh it’s SO cute”, said a fifth.
Meanwhile, a sixth chimed in: “I absolutely NEED this cardigan!”
It’s not the only item in store causing a frenzy with shoppers at the moment either.
Fashion fans have said “obsessed doesn’t come close” after spotting a new spring jacket on the rails.
The leopard print boxy trucker jacket is available in sizes small to extra large, and costs just £40.
Supermarket bosses have promised it is a “flattering fit” that will “elevate your everyday outfits”.
