I forked out £1.4k for a three-night stay at Center Parcs… the food is shocking, it’s daylight robbery
A MUM has slammed Center Parcs as ”the biggest waste of money” after forking out over £1,000 for a three-night stay at the popular family destination.
Mother-of-four Hannah Wrighting took to TikTok to share the brutal review of her time at Center Parcs, which allegedly cost her an eye-watering £1,400 for three nights.
According to the furious mother, she had also forked out twice as much as the other families who were allegedly on the site at the same time she was[/caption] Although the resort offered #some really nice walks’, Hannah said paying £1.4k for her three-night stay was a ‘waste of money’[/caption]According to Hannah, who vowed to never visit the resort ever again following the disappointing experience, she doesn’t ”get the hype for the amount people pay”.
Apologising to ”any Center Parcs lovers”, the parent said the popular destination wasn’t worth the extortionate sum she had to cover.
”It was the biggest waste of money I have actually spent. Don’t get me wrong, it is a beautiful place, there are some really nice walks.
”Food is absolutely shocking, don’t even f***ing buy it,” warned the frustrated mother, adding that the meals were ”overpriced”.
”Every food place we went to, it was grotty – it’s not worth the money,” Hannah ranted in the video.
The clip, which has so far racked up close to 140k views, also saw one of the family members attempt to take a bite of their chocolate chip skillet cookie – however, the sweet dessert was so hard, it was almost impossible to get any of the treat on the spoon.
Sharing her thoughts on the three-day stay at the popular resort, Hannah said she would’ve paid ”£500 max” for the stay – or almost three times less than what she was actually charged.
”That is crazy money. Didn’t feel as though it was catered to families either.
”As a family, I wouldn’t f***ing bother, I’m going to stick to European Center Parcs and going away over this.
”I just can’t get over how overpriced the UK is. Really? For family f***ing holidays? It’s unreal.”
She went on in the comments: ”Also, £1400 for pool use and some walks in a forest is daylight robbery.”
According to the furious mother, she had also forked out twice as much as the other families who were allegedly on the site at the same time she was.
”I am out with ever going to Center Parcs UK again, especially after the amazing experiences we just had for the same price a weekend here in the Netherlands!” Hannah added in the caption.
Dozens of social media users flooded to comments, where many were in disbelief at how much the brood had to pay.
Little-known free perks at Center Parcs
Visit before check in
Families can explore the park from the morning to make the most of their stay, with six free hours before the 4pm check in.
The park website states: “On your day of arrival, you can start your adventure in the forest from 10am and have access to your accommodation at 4pm.”

This gives another 14 free hours to explore the activities.

Baby Dolphins is a free session for kids under three before the pool opens, so parents can have a quieter session with their little ones.
One said: ”you can get a week abroad all inclusive for that money.”
Someone else agreed, adding: ”£1,400 is actually insane.”
”Centre parcs is so grotty. The forest is beautiful, everything else is grim,” a third chimed in.
However, not everyone raced to slam the resort, as numerous people also shared their positive experiences.
”I think you got conned with the amount you paid honestly, we’ve booked 2 lodges at the start of September and it’s costing the same as your one week,” wrote one TikTok user.
Someone else also had nothing but good things to say, writing: ”I really like it as a couple. I haven’t got children though. We did Mon-Fri for £500 for 6 adults.
”£16 each was incredible value & we bought the air fryer.”
After being contacted by The Sun for a comment, a spokesperson for Center Parcs said they didn’t have ”anything to add on this”.
