A £3.70 M&S must buy leaves my kitchen ‘smelling like a luxury spa’ & it’s a better all-purpose cleaner than Zoflora too
A WOMAN has urged people to “run” to Marks & Spencer after finding a £3.70 buy that made her house “smell like a luxury spa”.
Jhaniel explained that she’d picked up the green tea and bergamot disinfectant on a recent trip to the supermarket, and is now trying to inform others of the bargain buy.
The bottle costs £3.70 – and while it might sound a lot, she insisted it’s actually cheaper than Zoflora[/caption]Promising you “won’t regret” picking the cleaning product up, Jhaniel continued in her TikTok video: “It’s concentrated – so that means you can dilute this in water.
“Think of like a boutique hotel or like a luxurious hotel, that smell you get when you just enter the door.
“It’s got bergamot. So for my fragrance girlie that loves bergamot, you would definitely love this.”
Since she started using the disinfectant, Jhaniel has tried it for a variety of different cleaning purposes, including down the sink plughole and down the drains to make “everything smell good”.
She’s also mopped her floor and use it in a spray bottle with water to wipe down surfaces.
“So if you come into M&S make sure you pick this up!” she concluded.
“And you guys can’t say I don’t put you on to the good stuff!”
“Don’t walk, run down to @Marks & Spencer to pick up this lush disinfectant that will have your house smelling like the most luxurious hotel spa,” Jhaniel captioned the video.
She did have some critics in the comment section though, with one sarcastically writing: “Have you not heard of Zoflora?”
“Yes!! And your point?” Jhaniel responded.
“Oh zoflo smells cheap as in comparison,” another insisted.
“Is this better then zoflora?” someone else asked.
To which Jhaniel replied: “I would say yes.
“Zoflora is lovely but this one from M&S give an elevated smell and vibe.
“It’s like walking into a luxury spa.”
And she also had something to say to those criticising the price of the product, with one saying “£3.70 is a bit much for such a small bottle”.
Stacey Solomon's cleaning tips
IF you want a home that gleams like Stacey's, you'll need to listen up!
Label Everything: Stacey swears by the power of labelling. From pantry jars to storage bins, clear labels help keep everything organised and easy to find.
Daily Tidy Routine: Dedicate 15-20 minutes each day to tidying up. This prevents clutter from building up and makes weekly deep cleaning less daunting.
Baking Soda Magic: Stacey uses baking soda for a variety of cleaning tasks. It’s great for deodorising carpets, cleaning grout, and even freshening up mattresses.
Upcycle Containers: Repurpose old jars, tins, and containers to store cleaning supplies, craft materials, or kitchen ingredients. It’s both eco-friendly and cost-effective.
Shine with Vinegar: White vinegar is a staple in Stacey’s cleaning arsenal. It works wonders on windows, mirrors, and even limescale build-up in kettles.
Make It Fun: Turn on your favourite music or podcast to make cleaning less of a chore and more of a fun, productive activity.
Use a Toothbrush: For those hard-to-reach spots, a toothbrush can be an excellent tool. Use it to scrub grout lines, around taps, and in other small crevices.
Declutter Regularly: Stacey advises a regular declutter session to get rid of items you no longer need. This keeps your home neat and creates more space for the things you love.
Air Fresheners: Create your own natural air fresheners using essential oils. Stacey loves using lavender or citrus oils to keep her home smelling fresh.
Microfibre Cloths: These are essential for dusting and cleaning surfaces without leaving streaks. They are reusable and can be easily washed.
Incorporate these tips into your routine for a cleaner, more organised home, just like Stacey Solomon’s!
“It’s £3.70 for a 500ml bottle,” Jhaniel hit back.
“For example a 100ml zoflora can set you back £1-£2.10 depending on where you buy it.
“So in terms of cost per ml, M&S is more affordable than if you were to buy 500ml of Zoflora.”
“I love their Italian lemon and ginger kitchen spray,” another said of the M&S cleaning products.
“They do wipes in that range, and the washing up liquid smells divine.”
“It looks like I’ll be buying the entire range!” Jhaniel laughed.
You can use the disinfectant in a variety of different ways, including diluted with water in a spray bottle as a surface cleaner[/caption]
