Monday looking good to start
Hello Friends,
The wind call is for southerlies today, but early risers were rewarded with light offshores from the W-WSW and 2 metres of 10 second energy from the E-ESE. As you can see from the pics, that combo was translating into often punchy head high plus sets. The southerly wind is still on the cards, so you better get going. Tide was low at 0715 and will be back to high at 1315. Weather should be partly cloudy with a high of 25.
Tomorrow should see an even better set of conditions. The wind is expected to be light and variable while the swell maintains a similar intensity to today. And with any luck, we’ll still have reasonable conditions again for Wednesday.
Go well and have fun!
Weather Situation
Moderate to fresh southerly across the north will ease today as a ridge of high pressure moves along the coast. It remains under high pressure until the middle of the week with the passage of a trough.
