Boy Mom Paulina Gretzky Gave a Super-Rare Look Into Son Tatum’s Unique 10th Birthday Party Theme
You may or may not know this, but Wayne Gretzky’s daughter Paulina Gretzky is a proud mom of two boys. While she usually keeps her Instagram page for lavish parties and jaw-dropping outfits she rocks, she has sprinkled in some parts of her life as a mom. She usually keeps her sons’ lives on the private side, but last night, she showed everyone the sweetest thing: how her son Tatum celebrated his 10th birthday party. (And his party has a rather unique theme to it!)
In case you missed it, on Jan 18, Paulian shared a series of photos to her Instagram story, showing off her son’s Asian-inspired birthday party. You can see the photos HERE before time runs out!
In the first photo, we see Tatum looking so happy over this 10th birthday cake, which is an all-red cake with a golden dragon candle on top. Then, we see that Paulina helped bring the black and red theme to the next level by showing all the decorations, like the napkins, to the wild array of colorful balloons.
Along with this, we also see Tatum learning how to work the hibachi station with a chef, followed by papa Dustin Johnson working to do the same.
It’s clear that everyone had the time of their life, and we gotta say, having someone come into your home to do and teach hibachi may be one of the coolest tween birthday ideas we’ve ever heard of.
For those who don’t know, Paulina and her husband Johnson met back in 2009, but didn’t start dating until 2013. Within less than a year, they got engaged, and later married on April 23, 2022. They share two sons together named Tatum Gretzky Johnson, born in Jan. 2015, and River Jones Johnson, born in June 2017.
In a super-rare, previous interview with KIND Magazine, she briefly talked about motherhood. While she gave hints about how her household finds mental check-ins vital, along with clean eating and living healthy, she also talked about how she had to regain her confidence after welcoming two sons. “Pregnancy was tough and I’m not going to lie, adjusting to my new body, it took a toll,” she said. “I realized I had to pull myself out of this for my children. But then I realized again, that that wasn’t quite right either — I had to pull myself out of it for my relationship with Dustin. I had to pull myself out of it for me.”
