Waterbomb Manila in February 2025: Everything you need to know
MANILA, Philippines – It’s official: South Korea’s homegrown Waterbomb Festival is making its way to Manila on Februrary 22 and 23 at the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park, Manila.
The Waterbomb Festival first began in 2015 in South Korea, and sees both attendees and performers get soaked with water cannons and water guns. The festival primarily features Korean hip-hop, R&B, and EDM artists, along with K-pop idols. It has eventually become one of the most highly awaited events in South Korea every time summer rolls around, and has even expanded to other countries in recent years.
Here’s what you need to know about the festival’s first-ever edition in Manila.
Performers
Waterbomb Manila’s organizers began announcing the festival’s lineup in late November 2024. The performers are split into two teams, Blue and Yellow, for a water fight.

Tickets
Tickets will go on sale at 12 pm on Wednesday, January 22, via the Waterbomb Manila website. Attendees can choose to avail either a one-day or two-day pass, each priced differently depending on when you purchase them.
1st wave and 2nd wave tickets are only available in limited quantities. When the tickets in the current tier are all sold, they automatically move on to the next price tier until the tickets sell out.

- 2nd wave discount: P8,900
- Regular pass: P9,900
2-day pass
- 1st wave discount: P11,500
- 2nd wave discount: P12,500
- Regular pass: P13,500
VVIP tickets are also available upon contacting Waterbomb Manila by emailing info@waterbombmanila.com or calling (+63) 961 817 7870. However, the organizers have not mentioned the perks for VVIP ticket holders.
This year’s Waterbomb in South Korea will be held in Seoul in July. Meanwhile, aside from Manila, the festival will also be making stops in Hainan and Bali.
The festival’s Manila edition was originally supposed to be held on February 8 and 9 at Metrowalk Ortigas in Pasig City. The organizers announced the schedule and venue change in November 2024, apologizing for “any inconvenience this may have caused.”
