A NATURIST group is urging social media firms to allow nude pics of its members on their platforms.

It is one of 34 naturist organisations to sign an open letter from the International Naturist Federation.
Nude images are banned from the platforms with a few exceptions, such as those of breastfeeding.
But BN president Mark Bass told The Sun on Sunday: “We’re calling for better fairness in the way that naturism images are treated.
“We play by the rules but Meta is marginalising us by denying people who might be interested in naturism from seeing content.’’
He said he “fully understands the challenges of defining what content is acceptable” and would work with Meta to devise policies.
Mr Bass suggested that Meta could blur nudist snaps but give the option to show them unfiltered.
BN claims up to 12 posts a day are removed from its social media channels, including one about a sponsored nude charity walk.
Meta has been contacted for comment.
