Down the coast
Hello Friends,
In case you were wondering, it was ordinary down the coast too. The wind was blowing hard, but even if you could find a little shelter (eg on the north side of Ulladulla), the waves were very weak. The surfers in these pictures all sank out of their waves a second or two later. And that was after waiting ages for something they could get into. As the Goat said in his latest outlook, all the energy is staying out at sea for now.
I’ll be back in Sydney on Sunday to join you in waiting out the apparently endless southerly unpleasantness…
Go well!

Weather Situation
A low pressure system and associated trough off the Mid North coast is bringing strong south to southeasterly winds and hazardous to damaging surf conditions into this evening. Fresh and gusty winds will continue across the north during the weekend, before easing as a ridge of high pressure moves along the coast.
