- Legendary Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker passed away yesterday at the age of 90. Outside of the midwest, Uecker is best known for his role in the movie Major League.
- Jesse Winker is returning to the Mets on a one-year contract.
- Relatedly, the Mets and Pete Alonso are reportedly reaching a breaking point in their contract negotiations. With each passing day, it seems more likely that the first baseman will sign elsewhere.
