Cliff was all smiles as he chatted with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp.
When the conversation shifted to the possibility of revisiting his role in Albert Square, Cliff didn’t shy away from addressing the question.
Alex asked: “We have to ask because we said we would, Cliff, would you ever return to EastEnders to play Minty?”
Cliff responded enthusiastically: “You know what, I loved playing Minty, I had such a ball and you know I’ve been watching the repeats, and I remember how much fun it was and what a laugh we had!
“So never say never, that’s all I’d say. I really had fun doing it and I loved the show and I’m really grateful for everything it’s done for me.”
However, he then added: “Never say never, but I don’t like going backwards, I like to keep my eyes on the forward.”
Cliff first stepped into the role of Minty the mechanic in 2002, and quickly became a fan favourite for his sense of humour.
In 2010 the character decided to leave life in Walford behind him after a string of personal setbacks, including failed relationships.
Since leaving the iconic soap, Cliff Parisi has kept himself busy with a variety of acting roles.

EastEnders fans have been begging soap bosses to bring him back for the 40th anniversary of the show.
One viewer pointed out that he was introduced as an old friend of Phil Mitchell’s, and suggested that since Phil was going through a rough patch, it would be perfect timing for Cliff to make a reappearance.
