Malkin’s three Stanley Cup rings reported missing from break-in found inside his home
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
Evgeni Malkin’s three Stanley Cup rings that were reported missing following a weekend break-in have been found inside his Sewickley Heights home.
Initial information was released saying that Malkin’s three rings were missing following a burglary at his home.
Allegheny County Police provided an update Thursday evening that the rings were located and say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
In a statement released by the team, Malkin expressed his gratitude to the Allegheny County Police Department, the Sewickley Heights Police Department, and the entire Pittsburgh Penguins organization.

“The outpouring of support and concern from my teammates and fans over the past few days means so much to my family and I,” Malkin said.
The break-in is the latest among a string of burglaries targeting professional athletes around the country including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, Luka Doncic, Tyler Seguin, and a number of players from the NBA.
It remains unclear if any other items or valuables were taken from Malkin’s home.
