Bradley Walsh and all six of the famous general knowledge experts filmed new episodes of show in Spring 2023.
Although the lack air time over the past few years might have worried fans, Anne – who is known as The Governess – has now confirmed that even more are on their way.
The television fan account, TV Zone posted on X – formerly known as Twitter – as it claimed the commercial network is not giving the show the attention it deserves.
It read: “It feels like ITV are treating BTC (Beat The Chasers) as an after thought now. They repeated dozens of episodes (some more than once) last year, so they clearly find the show useful to plug gaps.
“Yet they have given this new series a bit of a dud slot. Are there any plans to film more episodes?”
To which the quiz expert replied that there are plans in motion to get back into the studio.
She admitted: “Definitely there are plans, in a few months.”
Anne, 66, will lead the likes of The Vixen (Jenny Ryan) and The Dark Destroyer (Shaun Wallace) in the forthcoming shows.
Sitting alongside them is The Beast, (Mark Labbett), The Menace (Darragh Ennis), and The Sinnerman (Paul Sinha) as they attempt to stop the contestants from winning a huge prize.
The hit series is a spin-off of the hit daytime show, The Chase where players try to outsmart just one of the professional quiz-masters.
Here, players have to answer a number of multiple choice questions to build up their cash-pot and eventually take on the group.
Each Chaser will then offer time and money depending on the contestant’s ability.
Their choice results in a nail-biting head-to-head race against the clock.
