The Nuke tried to play it cool as he walked to the oche after being called the world champion.
But he could not hide his emotions as he let out a smile before the song “Greenlight” blasted out on the speakers.
McDonald said in his new Littler introduction: “Ladies and gentlemen, from England, the winner of 11 PDC titles.
“He is the reigning and defending Bahrain Darts Master and the newly-crowned champion of the world.
“It is Luke, The Nuke, Littler.”
The teenage sensation stopped by his family and friends on his way to the stage for a quick hug from mum Lisa and a high-five from dad Anthony.
He was applauded by fans and appeared to make a joke to McDonald before his match started, with the host then leaving the stage giggling.
Littler was also applauded by Ilagan, who put up a strong fight but was eventually dispatched in routine fashion.
The Nuke averaged 94.36 in the clash and threw 140 or above an incredible 13 times to set up a meeting with Gerwyn Price next in Bahrain.
Littler has been loving life in the build-up to the tournament and he is getting the VIP treatment in the Middle East.
He was given an off-roading experience at Bahrain’s F1 track and he got presented with a huge early birthday cake at a restaurant ahead of his 18th on January 21.
