Love Island fans brand Ekin-Su a ‘game player’ as they ‘work out’ why she picked Curtis Pritchard to couple up with
LOVE Island All Stars is already bringing the drama, and fans are convinced Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is stirring the pot.
The former winner shocked viewers when she chose to couple up with Curtis Pritchard, leaving viewers questioning her motives.
Ekin-Su made her entrance as a bombshell during Tuesday night’s episode, just after the first pairings were decided.
She was given the option to steal a man after going on three dates, and many thought she would go for Scott Thomas after the pair appeared to have some chemistry.
However Islanders and viewers alike were left reeling when she picked Curtis.
Fans quickly pointed out the connection between Ekin-Su and Curtis’ ex, Maura Higgins.
Ekin-Su revealed during a chat with Curtis that she not only knows Maura but lives in the same block of flats as her.
Viewers have branded her move on Curtis a violation of ‘girl code’, accusing her of only picking him to cause controversy.
Taking to Instagram, one person declared: “Curtis needs to run—she is playing the game.”
Another added: “Anyone else feel she only couple up with Curtis because he was with Maura? Is it not strange that she lives in the same block as her and then went for her ex!!!”
A third speculated: “My Love Island theory is that Ekin Su who said she knows Maura probably has beef with her, so she is pursuing her ex Curtis to get back at her lol.”
A fourth raged: “Why all the clips are about Ekin? She’s a major game player.”
Ekin-Su’s choice came after a candid conversation with Curtis, where they discussed his past relationships.
Curtis admitted he’s had three girlfriends, including Maura, who he dated for nine months after meeting on Love Island.
The couple then split in 2020 after rumours that Curtis cheated on the Irish beauty, which he has denied.
He has admitted that their relationship is currently very strained, adding: “I’ve seen her a couple of times and she’s completely blanked me!”
