Forward Veszi Lippai Signs Tender with Bismarck Bobcats
The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that forward Veszi Lippai has signed a tender agreement with the Bismarck Bobcats.
Lippai, a native of Woodbury, Minnesota is a 6’2, 205 LBS, ‘06 forward who plays for the Cretin-Derham Hall High School. In 15 contests this season Lippai has scored 3 goals and tacked on 6 assists for a total of 9 points. In addition to playing high school hockey, Lippai has played for Team MAP South Hockey in the UMHSEHL this season. In 21 games he found the back of the net 4 times and added on 10 assists for a total of 14 points.
Bobcats GM and Director of Scouting Niko Kapetanovic commented on Lippai’s playstyle and work ethic. “Veszi Lippai will be a familiar name to Bobcats fans as his older brother Atilla spent time with the Bobcats. I am fortunate to have coached Veszi over the last 3 seasons at Cretin-Derham Hall High School. As a captain of his HS hockey team, Veszi checks all of the boxes. He is an elite teammate, relentless worker, extremely coachable, and we as a staff believe his best hockey is yet to come. Veszi is a true power forward who stays over the top of pucks, takes pucks to the net, and can play anywhere in a lineup and be effective. At 6’2, 205 LBS, he will be a lot for opponents to handle in the Central Division.”
Tender agreements are contracts handing a North American Hockey League team rights to a player for the upcoming season.
