COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - From the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Columbus Fury playing home matchups, to Downtown light displays and the production of Peter Pan at the Ohio Theatre, here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.
Blue Jackets vs. Sharks
Nationwide Arena, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m.
- The Columbus Blue Jackets face the San Jose Sharks in a game at Nationwide Arena.
Peter Pan
Ohio Theatre, through Jan. 19
- Enjoy this high-flying musical as Peter Pan and his mischievous sidekick, Tinker Bell, visit the bedroom of the Darling children where they go on a magical adventure. The musical features iconic and timeless songs including “I’m Flying,” “I Gotta Crow,” “I Won’t Grow Up” and “Neverland.” Tickets are on sale now.
Wanderlights
Downtown Columbus, now through Feb. 16
- Explore the free holiday light experience featuring more than half a million lights at the Columbus Commons, the Scioto Mile and along Town Street. Patrons can stroll through daily from 5 to 10 p.m.
Ohio State men's basketball
Value City Arena, Jan. 17 at 8 p.m.
- The Buckeyes take on the Indiana Hoosiers at Value City Arena.
Scioto Audubon Winter Hike
Scioto Audubon Metro Park, Jan. 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Gather your friends and family for a hike on any trail at Scioto Audubon Metro Park. Refreshments and a treat will be served.
Fury vs. Ignite
Nationwide Arena, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m.
- The Columbus Fury face the Indy Ignite at Nationwide Arena. Tickets are on sale.
Craig Robinson
Columbus Funny Bone, Jan. 18 at 9 p.m.
- Actor and comedian Craig Robinson will be performing live in Columbus. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m.
Cinemark National Popcorn Day Celebration
Cinemark Theatres, Jan. 19
- Check out a movie and celebrate National Popcorn Day at Cinemark. The theater is allowing patrons to bring in their own bucket to fill up with popcorn for $5. The limit is 400oz (equivalent of 2 XL popcorns.)
Columbus Museum of Art
