Boy, 15, and woman injured in Brooklyn shooting: NYPD
BED-STUY, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A 15-year-old boy and a woman were shot in Brooklyn on Tuesday, according to the NYPD.
It happened on Chauncey Street in Bed-Stuy around 7 p.m. The teenager was shot once in his ankle, police said.
The 32-year-old woman, who was passing by the shooting, was grazed by a bullet, according to authorities. She told police she heard shots ring out and felt a burning sensation.
The boy was taken to Maimonides Medical Center by EMS. The woman took herself to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, police said.
No arrests have been made. Police have not confirmed a description of the suspect.
