Two Pontotoc Co. men arrested for child exploitation
ADA, Okla. (KFOR) - Two men have been arrested in connection to a child exploitation investigation in Pontotoc County.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit received two tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Officials say during the investigation, agents identified the two suspect as 22-year-old Daemond Clarke and 39-year-old Galen Hesson, who were both in Ada. The OSBI discovered they both had a substantial amount of child sexual abuse material.
On January 13, 2025, the OSBI ICAC Unit, Ada Police Department and Payne County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit served a search warrant at both Clarke's and Hesson's properties. Based on the information and evidence gathered during the investigation, both men were arrested and booked into the Pontotoc County Jail on charges of Child Sexual Exploitation and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
According to the OSBI, the investigation is still ongoing.
