The Penguins activated forward Evgeni Malkin from injured reserve on Tuesday night ahead of the game. The team also reassigned forward Jesse Puljujarvi to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. [Trib Live]
Speaking of Malkin, his Sewickley Heights home was broken into and burglarized over the weekend. Malkin now joins a growing list of prominent professional athletes who have been the target of home break-ins, including Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce, who had their homes broken into last year.
