Real Housewives of London in chaos as Andy Cohen struggles to cast Brits who ‘don’t want to do it’
THE Real Housewives of London is in chaos as creator Andy Cohen struggles to cast a glamourous set of Brits to take part in the show.
The new series aims to replicate the huge success of its American show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

But executive producer Andy can’t find any stars to take part in the British version despite searching far and wide.
A source told the Daily Mail: “They’re looking for businesswomen rather than celebs, not going down the WAG or celeb route.
“It’s not working as no one wants to do it.”
‘They first asked her about casting back in August. It’s now January, and they’re still not cast.
“They keep sending messages saying, “Have you got anyone?”
The filming of the London series was planned for early 2025 and it was expected to premiere later this year.
Olga Puzanova, SVP of Marketing at Hayu, said during the announcement: ‘Our fans have been vocal for London to be featured in the iconic The Real Housewives universe for a long time now and we are thrilled to confirm that the wait is finally over!
“We are delighted to give our fans exactly what they’ve been asking for, so get ready for some of London’s most fabulous and fiery personalities to shake things up.
“The drama, the glamour, and the unforgettable moments are all coming exclusively to Hayu, and we can’t wait for you to dive in.”
The news meant the UK would have two Housewives formats, with The Real Housewives of Cheshire now in its 17th series on ITVBe.
But stars such as Neighbours actor Holly Valance, fashion entrepreneur Trinny Woodall and Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani have apparently declined the opportunity due to other work commitments.
And even though it has been speculated that PR Guru and socialite Fran Cutler might want to become involved.
If the producers can’t secure other stars the show’s launch could be postponed due to filming not being able to commence.
Meanwhile, Real Housewives of New York legend Countess Luann is angling for a cameo on the Real Housewives of Cheshire.
The American TV personality, real name Luann de Lesseps, has become a fan favourite on both sides of the pond after starring in thirteen series of the reality show.
And now she’s heading to the UK to entertain her British followers.
Luann said: ““I’ve not watched Cheshire but I’d love to see what it’s like -maybe I could do a cameo when I’m back next.”
