Herberg Middle School to reopen on Jan. 15
PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- Herberg Middle School in Pittsfield will reopen for a full day of classes on Wednesday, Jan. 15. The school was closed on Tuesday due to heating and electrical issues caused by problems with the boiler system.
Students were dismissed early on Monday after the issues were discovered. Crews have been working to fix it.
The last day of school has been pushed back to June 18 to make up for lost instruction time.
