David Schwimmer Reveals Grammy-Winning Singer He Served with Divorce Papers - Watch Now!
David Schwimmer is still kind of hiding from a certain Grammy-winning British rockstar!
On Monday night (January 13), the 58-year-old Friends actor appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert where he looked back at some of the “unique” jobs he had as a teen before making it big in Hollywood.
“One summer after my freshman year in college, I was just looking for work, and my mom said, ‘Well, you can be a process server for me,’” David recalled. “My mom was a divorce lawyer, and I was the guy who would pop out of the bushes and serve you divorce papers.”

David revealed that one person he ended up serving divorce papers to was Rod Stewart!
“Once, oh man, thank goodness I’ve never run into him since, but I served Rod Stewart,” David recalled with a laugh. “I don’t even know if he knows. I don’t think he knows.”
“He knows now. Change your locks, man. He’s vengeful,” Stephen jokingly responded. “You could theoretically run into Rod Stewart sometime and now he knows to punch you.”
While David didn’t confirm who was divorcing Rod, 80, at the time, the British rock singer got divorced from his first wife Alana Stewart in 1984, which is the same year David turned 18.
In another recent interview, David revealed the blockbuster movie role he turned down.
