Bruins-Lightning Projected Lines, Pairings: Call-Ups Ready To Start
The Boston Bruins will see changes to the lineup for their matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.
Before the game, Boston placed defenseman Charlie McAvoy and forward Mark Kastelic on injured reserve. Due to illness, Charlie Coyle was ruled a game-time decision. Vinni Lettieri and Matt Poitras were called up to fill their spots.
Interim head coach Joe Sacco confirmed Poitras would start even if Coyle was fit to dress. The 20-year-old will center a line with Oliver Wahlstrom and Trent Frederic and hopes to provide a spark to Boston’s offense.
Andrew Peeke will pair with Nikita Zadorov on the blue line in place of McAvoy. Jeremy Swayman is expected to start in net.
Puck drop for Bruins-Lightning at TD Garden is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
