Jesy Nelson’s gameplan revealed as she eyes up reality show following pregnancy with twins
SHE announced she was expecting twins with her boyfriend Zion Foster on Sunday, and now insiders tell me Jesy Nelson is weighing up a new TV deal which could see her documenting her journey into motherhood.
The Little Mix singer recently signed up with talent agency Off Limits, who have successfully steered the television careers of a number of stars including Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri, Dancing On Ice’s Dan Edgar and I’m A Celebrity’s Danielle Harold, so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if this was a route Jesy will be advised to take.

“Jesy is the perfect fit for an ITVBE style reality show which would watch her becoming a first time mum,” an insider told me.
“There is a gap in the market now Ferne McCann has stepped back from her fly-on-the-wall series and Jesy would be an incredible person to sign up.
“The production company who made the show were targeting Michelle Keegan but it’s likely they’ll never get that off the ground.
“Jesy’s surprise news has turned their heads and they think she would be a perfect fit.
“She also has a younger audience appeal and has so many fans who have stuck by her since her Little Mix days.”
A TV deal, in my eyes, would be a shrewd move by Jesy – who over the past 12 months has stepped back from the spotlight.
A break was just what was needed after a rough start to her solo career.
I’ve interviewed Jesy a number of times over the years and she is sweet, thoughtful and kind.
So to watch her tried by social media for decisions made by her advisors left a bad taste in my mouth.
Her difficult relationship with her bandmates Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards was also hard to see.
Falling out with your closest friends is hard enough as it is. But with an audience of millions of fans watching, it’s unfathomable for us normal folk.
After stepping back from the group in December 2020, Jesy said at the time: “The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health.
“I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.”

She went travelling with Zion, the father of her twins, and last year the pair quietly released a song, Mine, together.
The track came without fanfare which was the right thing for Jesy because connecting directly with her fans means she can avoid the scrutiny from the trolls who seem so keen to tear her down.
Her last TV documentary, Odd One Out, was a huge success when it came out in 2019 and led to her winning a National Television Award.
This series could be the start of something very special and will show people the Jesy I know.
Becoming a mum marks the start of an amazing new chapter for Jesy and gives her a chance to carve out a whole new life for herself, as well as a new career opportunity.
If I was Jesy, I think this is a chance well worth taking.
