Tottenham send offer to PSG and hold advantage in Randal Kolo Muani race
According to the latest update from France, Tottenham Hotspur have a couple of things working in their favour when it comes to their race with Juventus for Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani.
Randal Kolo Muani: Tottenham vs Juventus
Even though Italian outlets have talked up the Bianconeri’s chances of landing Kolo Muani, it continues to be reported that Tottenham are refusing to give up on the race to sign the Frenchman.
It has been suggested by various sources over recent days, including Fabrizio Romano, that the 26-year-old is certain to leave Paris, and that both Spurs and Juve have held talks with PSG regarding a deal.
An interesting update has now emerged from France suggesting that the Old Lady might struggle to beat the Lilywhites to the striker.
Tottenham hold an advantage over Juventus
This update comes from L’Equipe, who say that Spurs are still very ‘active’ in the race for Kolo Muani, with discussions continuing between them and PSG.
It is revealed that Daniel Levy has ‘very good relations’ with the French club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, which he could use to his advantage in the race for the player.
Further, it is explained that Kolo Muani is ‘seduced’ by the idea of testing himself in the Premier League.
Finally, this report also adds that despite Juve’s interest in the player, the Italian giants are now ‘lacking funds’ to make a reasonable proposal.
PSG and Randal Kolo Muani playing the waiting game
The same publication then provides another update, explaining that Tottenham have already sent a loan offer to PSG with an option to buy.
The Ligue 1 side are thought to be waiting for all offers to arrive before making a final decision regarding a sale.
Kolo Muani reportedly wants to do the same, with the former Eintracht Frankfurt happy to hear proposals as he waits to see who can strike a deal with PSG.
