Noughties TV legends to reunite for BBC show after 19 years – despite one star doubting they’d ever work together again
TWO Noughties TV legends are coming back together for the first time in 19 years.
The popular duo rose to fame thanks to presenting strands on Channel 4 in the early-mid 2000s but have not worked together professionally ever since.

The duo also fronted the weekend early morning slot, T4, on occasion but haven’t been seen on-screens together since 2006.
Miquita and Simon opted to quit Popworld at the end of 2006 as their careers began to take off with Alex Zane and Alexa Chung brought in to replace them.
Whilst behind closed doors, the pair have remained close ever since, they have never worked together on a project after Popworld until now.
Simon will be teaming up with Miquita once again as he fills in for her co-host Lily Allen on the BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me.
Lily has opted to take a break from the show in the wake of her marriage split to actor David Harbour and checking into an £8,000-a-week ‘trauma centre’.
Now, Simon will be helping to hold the fort for two episodes on the twice-weekly podcast in the wake of Lily’s extended absence.
The long-awaited reunion could come as a surprise to many fans and followers after TV presenter Miquita previously confessed that Simon would never work with her again.
Speaking to the Metro about their partnership in 2022, she revealed: “Simon will not work with me again.
“I don’t know why. He’s like, ‘It was brilliant. Let’s just leave it there’. And I’m like, ‘Yeah… but we were so good’.”
Miquita will also be joined by her mum, TV chef and Great British Menu star Andi Oliver as a guest co-host on the podcast as well as one half of Rizzle Kicks and TV presenter, Jordan Stephens.
It is expected that Lily will be away from the podcast for three weeks.
